(Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO Medius Holdings Co., Ltd. Masayuki Nishikawa), which plans, procures, and sells medical consumables.

[Background and purpose of establishment]

MEDIUS HD supports medical institutions facing various issues mainly through the sale of medical equipment and the sale and rental of welfare and nursing care products. In order to provide products required by the medical field at more user-friendly prices, we have developed a private brand of medical materials, "ASOURCE SELECT".

With the establishment of MIUL Healthcare Co., Ltd., the aim is to further develop the planning and sales function of private label products that MEDIUS HD has been working on, and to build a fabless manufacturer model (planning, procurement, and sales). We aim to contribute to maximizing the Group's profits by strengthening our private brand strategy by strengthening our product procurement scheme through direct purchases from overseas manufacturers and our ability to quickly develop original products that reflect consumer needs.

Based on the strong partnership between MEDIUS HD and ITOCHU Retaillink, MIUL Healthcare Co., Ltd. will build a new model for medical material procurement, grasp the needs of hospitals and facilities in each region, and provide products that satisfy customers at more user-friendly prices.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds will continue to be donated to WFP's "Red Cup Campaign" to contribute to the support of school lunches for children in developing countries.
The MEDIUS Group will continue to contribute further to improving the quality of life of patients in the medical field and beyond.
