In accordance with the Japan Federation of Medical Devices Manufacturers Associations' "Guidelines for Transparency in the Medical Device Industry with Medical Institutions," the MEDIUS Group will disclose payment information made by each of its group companies to medical institutions in the following manner, with the aim of gaining broad understanding that our group's corporate activities are aimed at contributing to regional healthcare and that we promote our corporate activities while ensuring high ethical standards.
1. Timing and method of publication
Release date
Payment information for each fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th) will be released as soon as it is ready after the financial results are announced.
How to publish
We will publish information on payments made to medical institutions and other organizations for the previous fiscal year on our website and other platforms, for the combined total of MEDIUS Group (our company and its various operating companies).
2. Public Access
The items subject to disclosure are funding provided to domestic medical institutions and healthcare professionals, and fall into five categories: research and development expenses, academic research grants, manuscript writing fees, information provision-related expenses, and other expenses. Details for each category are provided below.
A. Research and development expenses, etc.
This includes expenses incurred for research and surveys conducted under public regulations and various guidelines such as the Clinical Research Act and the GCP/GVP/GPSP ministerial ordinances under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act.
The funds and other resources provided, along with the annual total for each item, will be disclosed as follows.

This includes scholarship donations and general donations made for the purpose of promoting academic research and providing research grants, as well as donations to academic societies and co-sponsorship fees to support the holding of meetings of academic societies and other organizations.
